I choose to be conflict-free!

MiaDonna is spearheading a HUGE movement and shining a light on the importance of ethical diamonds. Though I am not yet engaged to my wonderful boyfriend, I have always known that I wouldn’t want a traditional diamond when that day does come.

I personally haven’t been able to entertain wearing a statement piece that has almost assuredly caused some form of bloodshed. The first ring that I designed a few months back was the stunning honey band with a 2.05-carat Emerald gemstone. For as long as I can remember, I have always been drawn to green crystals, minerals, and gemstones. Emeralds are believed to be connected with the heart chakra. They are also known as the “stone of successful love” — which is quite ironic and congruent to the statement that we all hope our engagement rings will manifest. It is said to promote unconditional love not only with your partner but within yourself. This felt like the most befitting ring for me for a variety of reasons. Largely, I wanted to celebrate the level of growth I had attained over the last year.
