SMALL BIZ SHOPPING WITH UBER FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Everyone knows about Black Friday — but I really wanted to highlight something I really love called Small Biz Saturday.

I love shopping at and supporting local small businesses. Uber provides the reliable transportation option that I need — especially considering that parking can be quite challenging to find in Los Angeles. It’s also great to have a break from maneuvering through the insane traffic!

I took uberX my go-to coffee shop in Burbank, called Blvd Cafecito. It’s my favorite place to meet with friends, have the occasional client meeting, and get work done. The ambiance is idyllic – it’s a quiet & charming space, which makes it a conducive atmosphere to work in. The staff is also incredibly friendly! I’ve become such a regular that I’m able to catch up and share stories with them. I think there is an incredibly endearing quality in being able to go to a small business and feel as though you’re supporting a friend.

I used Uber’s reliable feature share ETA + Trip Status to let my friends know how long it would be before they could expect my arrival.

Upon arriving, I ordered my favorite California staple  – a Horchata latte with coconut milk. Blvd Cafecito is one of my favorite local coffee spots because not only do they offer a multitude of different coffees but they also sell a variety of local artisan candles and Bialetti Moka pots.

The perfect shopping day = Uber + buying local artisan goods while sipping on my favorite latte.
