CLEAN SERUMS + OILS
Listed below are some of my favorite clean serums + oils!
The Mara Beauty – The Universal Serum: I had the pleasure of meeting the founder, Allison McNamara, earlier this year at a press event. I remember when she first told me she had begun the research to start her own skincare line – and it’s so amazing to see her dream come to fruition. Her excessive research paid off because the Mara Beauty Universal Face Oil is basically heaven in a bottle. It is nutrient rich in superfood oils – like moringa, bilberry, baobab, Kalahari melon– phytonutrients, antioxidants, and vitamin A, B, C, D, E, & F. I use it every night and in the morning before applying my make up!
Indie Lee – Stem Cell Serum: This is one of my favorite clean skincare brands across the board. I have been following Indie Lee’ personal and professional journey over the last few years. I’m so inspired by her story and all that led her to create this amazing line. Indie Lee combatted a rare brain tumor and she believed that the cancer was a result of everyday toxic products she used. She made it her mission to create a natural, skincare line that she could stand behind and in turn empower + educate along the way. The Stem Cell Serum is an every-day staple for me. It is an “active conditioning serum addresses skin firmness, texture and tone and is hard at work to promote the appearance of increased collagen.” This is the ultimate youth in a bottle serum – and I’ve noticed a drastic improvement in my overall skin texture since using!
Graydon Skincare – Fullmoon Serum: I love this brand – and I was fortunate enough to be able to get my hands on the pre-launch of the Fullmoon Serum. I like to call this one “crystal glow in a bottle”. The of the serum alone is compelling enough to want to try – but once I found out it was infused with malachite, I knew it would make its way into my beauty cabinet. It’s also formulated with botanical collagen, vitamin c, hyaluronic acid, oligopeptides and retinol, and anti-inflammatory blue tansy. I love using this in the evening time before bed – especially around my eye and forehead areas.
Pai Skincare – The Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil: Pai Skincare was designed chiefly with sensitive skin in mind. The Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil is rich omegas and helps give the skin a little regenerative boost. I use this in the morning sometimes before applying my makeup and my skin glows for the entire day. My mom has vitiligo and sensitive skin – and this oil is the perfect Christmas gift for her (ahh, Hi mom – hope you’re not reading this.. I should have added a spoiler alert in the intro)
One love Organics – Youth Preservation Serum: I took the test on One Love Organics website and afterward, and this was one of the products recommended. I’m thrilled I decided to take the quiz because I can’t say enough good things about this serum. The Botanical E Youth Preservation Serum is a powerful plant-based, non-phototoxic serum with a potent blend of Vitamin E rich botanicals to preserve skin’s youthful appearance. I’ve noticed a difference in some forehead lines of mine that had started to develop in under 2 weeks!
Clary Collection – Oil Renew + Repair: Clary Collection is a natural and organic skincare line founded by two lovely ladies, Adriel Denae + Jen Auerbach. They were inspired to create the line after each of them gave birth to their first child. As quoted on their about me: “Recognizing that the skin is the body’s largest organ and that it absorbs a lot of environmental toxins we set out to source clean organic skincare” (my thoughts exactly ladies). The Clary Renew + Repair Oil is Avocado based and infused with orange blossoms and rose hips. I’ve seen a big difference in post-acne marks since using this!
